Trattoria Don Vincenzo: Authentic Neapolitan Dining on Via San Biagio Dei Librai

The food was lovely! The restaurant is located on a busy street in central Napoli so it can feel a little noisy and chaotic when you are seated on the outside, but it felt very authentic! Would recommend

Stumbled upon this restaurant while searching where to eat. Arrived to the restaurant and my group of 3 did wait for 15 minutes to be seated. Mind you, you will wait for a couple minutes to be seated since they do have a limited number of tables. The food was so delicious that the wait time was worth it! The food takes a couple minutes to prepare but worth the wait since it’s fresh ingredients and the taste of the food was top tier. *chef’s kiss* the service was good. The food was a good amount for a small late dinner. The atmosphere was amazing. We did see a small group of musicians play definitely was a surprise and they played amazing. They do hold up to the TripAdvisor Traveller’s choice!

This was the best dinner we had in Naples by far! Our server was very attentive and very nice. The bruschetta was the best bruschetta I've ever had in my life. They have options for vegetarians which is hard to find in Naples. The outdoor seating was beautiful for the night because the weather was perfect.

I read here that others really liked the food and that the service was pleasant. And it was absolutely true – the young men in the kitchen cooking as well as the hostess were extremely nice - and the food was wonderful! I ordered something suggested here by another reviewer because I needed a suggestion, and I was very happy with it - I got the octopus salad and the fried anchovies. Everything was very fresh and well prepared. Next time I’m going to get the seafood risotto and I’m sure it will be great.

Very friendly staff and good food. We especially enjoyed the mixed fried seafood platter. Only thing to caution is that it’s almost all outdoor seating where there are smokers, so if you’re really bothered by it then there’s only one table that’s semi indoors that is next to the kitchen.

We ate there twice in a short visit and would have been three times had the queue not been so long. The pasta was cooked perfect one occasion a simple bolgnase dish another sea food with clams, muscles and prawns and I must say it was as good as anywhere I have eaten similar dishes before.

Special find! Starters and mains were delicious- fried anchovies were like little ocean French fries! Carbonara on POINT. Outdoor seating is sparse, but we got lucky.

We had an amazing dinner here as the pasta here is perfect and the terrace is right next to the busy street, so it's a great balance of privacy and feeling the busy city rhythm. Expect to wait for a table for at least 15 minutes (sometimes the waiting line gets really long, so it can get a lot worse...) because there aren't many tables on the terrace and this place is very popular... The waiters are nice and professional and we were satisfied with service, but don't expect a special treatment from waiters beacuse they are very busy.
